I left my shades in a taxi and if it was not for time constraints I would have successfully got them back.
A residential building trying to be a full service hotel
It is not a hotel in the real sense. It’s a residential apartment, with some of the rooms/units being rented out. But the rooms are nice enough and comfortable. 👍 For the same price, i can check in at a real hotel. 😁 I was expecting a view of the Burj tower from my room window, but all i got was the river view, desert and Bridges.

The room where we stayed was very good, all that we needed was there. We had a good view of the Burj Khalifa and was spectacular specially at night, the bed was wonderful, so clean and comfortable. The have enough elevators for guests. The food selection during breakfast was great, essentials are available. The taste of the food is very good, the food was hot and presented well.

A very short but memorable stay at Sofitel
We stayed for a night at Sofitel Downtown after staying for three nights at Taj Exotica. Our review of Sofitel is, therefore, influenced by our experience at the Taj. We decided to stay here because of a) the proximity to Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, and b) our early morning departure the next day. We arrived here around 1:40 PM and the check-in took around 10-12 minutes. The standard check-in time was 3 PM and the rooms were not ready yet but the executive at the reception still tried to see if we could place our luggage in the room before heading for Burj Khalifa.

I arrived in Dubai after 3 AM, and it was nice that there was a reception that allowed for 24-hour check-in. The breakfast was well prepared; although the food wasn’t to Korean taste, I still enjoyed the bread, cheese, and fruits. The refrigerator in the accommodation wasn’t working, so I called, and staff came right away to fix it. Every staff member I met was very kind. I had traveled in Europe before going to Dubai, and the powerful air conditioning was so good! The bed was soft, and I slept very well, feeling very comfortable.

An Unforgettable Stay at Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai! From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The location is perfect, the hotel is stunning, and the service truly goes above and beyond. Every detail was handled with such care and professionalism, making my stay both relaxing and memorable. The whole experience from the arrival at the hotel entrance up until the checkout from the hotel was smooth and seamless as can be. Special mention to Rayhan who handled our check in professionally and even helped ne with a medical issue by guiding me to the proper healthcare facility, and Mayar who assisted me with a problem I had with my baggage during check out. Will come again for sure and highly recommend this hotel for whoever wants an all in one package (location, comfort and luxury). The only thing I have to say was my issue was the TV in my room. It had white dots embedded into the screen, which is basically LED TV “burn in” probably from over use of tv and not changing it for a while.

Awsome stay ruined by few things
Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights to see the real Dubai as it is located close to the main areas i. e. Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa etc. Nobody informed close to this hotel there was heavy construction going on which constantly made our stay miserable as we had to keep waking up due to the noise outside. Also for some reason, Agoda only booked for 2 adults despite I had booked 2 bedroom big apartment, which impacted me for not being eligible for breakfast for 4 people.

Hotel is in fantastic location its just 7min by walking from Burj Khalifa. Excellent view from room 704. We saw whole downtown with all skyscrapers including Burj Khalifa. Fantastic swimming pool and spa. We had 2 rooms open plan kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Absolutely loved view and flat.

Great stay
Stayed here recently and had a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. One of the biggest highlights is the hotel’s prime location – it’s just a stone’s throw away from Dubai Mall and the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for tourists and business travelers alike. The breakfast was a standout feature, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. But what really made our stay special was the incredible service, particularly from Hamza at the lobby coffee station.

Location, Friendly Staff, and smooth check-in check-out. Overall, it was a mixed experience. The food, while not bad, fell short of expectations. It lacked the flavor and uniqueness I was hoping for, making it rather unremarkable overall. I also experienced an issue with the AC in my room, as the temperature couldn’t be lowered below 23°C.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional hospitality during my recent stay at The Palace Downtown. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding, especially from the doormen who went above and beyond in making me feel welcome. Special thanks to Roy, Jasmon, Fredrick, and Ali, honestly their warm greetings and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations. The experience at Buhayra Lounge was equally memorable. The service was impeccable, and the food was exceptional.

our family spend four days in the palace hotel old town in december 2011 and we had a wonderful experience and definitely would come back. i really like the feel of the hotel which shows the authenticity of arabic architecture. service was good. location is perfect! also, they had a wonderful christmas brunch in the hotel. the hotel is located right in front of souk al bahar, a traditional mall where they sell the local stuff and there are quite a number of restaurants in the mall.
