I would recommend this hotel for sure if you really wanna Enjoy a Proper 5* Service and Facilities. I booked Lagoon View Room. And The View and Feel in this hotel make you feel you are in somewhere in Thailand or some other asian country and 24 hours Lagoon Pool access is the best thing where you and your family can enjoy being in water anytime of the day. Other than this from the check in process till checkout it was all 5* and Awesome. Only one thing I want to highlight there chat support is too slow.

Utilizing honeymoon during the Lunar New Year.
Located at the very end of Palm Jumeirah, this is one of the most iconic hotels in Dubai (some might say it’s cliché as well). The shuttle service was an additional option, but since it was about double the cost of a taxi or Uber, I opted for a taxi instead. Right next door, the Atlantis The Royal is set to open on February 10, 2023, and the view from there was also breathtaking. They allowed me to use the changing room next to the cloakroom before and after check-in. I stayed in the Imperial Club King Room with a beach view (Palm Jumeirah side).

Excellent hotel stay ..after a rocky start
I was very disappointed and angry that upon my arrival the request made for a black car to pick my gf up who was arriving on another later flight was not done. after writing twice weeks and days before arriving and there had been no response confirming. THIS WAS Waldorf Astoria ?? However in no time the front desk and a totally apologetic and fast moving driver (though it was not his fault) rectified the situation and saved the day.

Very clean, nice rooms. The breakfast was really nice with a great variety. Staff were really nice. It was far away from the city and takes at least 20 minutes to get out of the palm area. Beach sand was not soft and not what I was expecting for a beach holiday.

Great facilities and setting, but the experience was let down by delays and minor issues
The room was really spacious and had a warm, elegant design. You could tell they used quality materials and appliances—everything felt thoughtfully put together and very comfortable. It definitely had a touch of luxury without being over the top. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a nice variety that catered to different tastes. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful.

Pros: Service staff like the doorman and bellboy were exceptionally courteous and helpful, often going out of their way to assist. After raising concerns, the senior front office staff handled the situation professionally, relocating me to a better room on the 3rd floor and offering an apology note with chocolates. They were thoughtful enough to send a pastry to my room on my birthday, which was a lovely gesture. The Indian food at the restaurant was excellent, and the flavors were authentic and delightful.

Overpriced and not transparent
When we booked, we chose to pay at hotel. Before we arrived, the hotel (not Agoda) took part of the stay out of our bank account without notice. When checking in, we paid the remainder of the balance. Upon checkout, we were asked to pay the amount again that had already been taken from our account prior to arriving. After communicating with two front desk staff, it was determined we were actually due a refund instead.

* professional and welcoming front desk staff, and quite literally all of the personnel of the resort * water refill stations throughout the hotel, providing a refillable bottle in the rooms that is not glass would’ve been a great addition along with a beach tote bag * breakfast buffet was quite nice, and teas/coffee/water are served along with different kinds of fresh juices during breakfast, complimentary with the half board package * the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, the lounger and table and chairs on the balcony was a great plus to hangout at after dinner, with a great view * the facilities such as the changing room with a sauna and shower at the gym were super nice, we were able to use it to change into more weather appropriate clothes before our room was ready, so we can start exploring the surrounding areas, as well as to freshen up after a beach day on our checkout day before heading to the airport that evening * Tina from front desk with a beautiful smile, made the check out process super fast and easy and took care of our luggage while we take advantage of the resort one last time before we need to head out to the airport * glasses at the beach bar were dirty, ordered an iced tea and the glass it was served in was dirty * ordered pizza at the beach bar, it came cold, zero cheese pull * beach towels and beach loungers could use a refresh, almost all of them are worn out, dirty and stained, some towels have tears * could have at the least provided still water or tea at dinner for the half board, a small bottle of water being 20 AED is ridiculous, there are zero beverages for dinner with the half board package, which wasn’t specified when booking * the swimming zone at the beach is quite small and there is a lot of seaweed and some trash in the water (like cigarette butts and plastic), wasn’t a pleasant swimming experience * the beach was dirty, scraps of trash in the sand, and this was early morning * the room bathroom lighting could be brighter, even with all the lights on its quite dark for doing makeup. It also could be cleaned better, there is mold around the shower door and there was hair on the shower wall when we just got there.

Lifts – Fabulous and very quick. There were 4 lifts so they were never crowded. Lobby – Beautiful and never over crowded, always staff at the desks and staff willing to help. Toilets – Exceptionally clean and air conditioned making it very easy for those of us who wear a swimsuit to undress fully when wet from being in the pool. Rooms – Very comfortable beds, a safe which was easy to use.
Great value for money
We got this hotel as it was the cheapest we could find on the Palm, and you get what you pay for. The room is great, the view not so much (looking into another building). This would not have bothered me much if the hadn’t been told by the reception that they had “given us an upgrade” even though we hadn’t asked for one. No use in saying that when the room was looking into another building. Had they not said that, this would not have bothered me much (it was the dishonesty of saying so that was a bit of a shame).
