Disappointing Initial Experience, Resolved with a Better Room at Furama Silom Hotel, Bangkok
During my 4-night stay at Furama Silom Hotel in Bangkok, I initially booked a Superior Room and was assigned a room on the 11th floor. Upon entering, I was greeted with a musty smell and a noisy air conditioner. I promptly informed the reception, and while a maintenance staff member was sent to investigate, he was unable to resolve the issue. He suggested I contact the front desk again, which I did. Additionally, the room had several other issues: low water pressure, a leaking showerhead handle, and dust on the small table and TV desk.
Pleasant Stay at Furama Silom
We (9 of us) stayed in Furama Silom for 4 nights. 2 family rooms and 1 deluxe room. Both family rooms have a slight mouldy smell. It was quite unbearable at the beginning but I guess we were kinda used to it. Just hope we didn’t get ‘mould poisoning’.

Cons more than Pros
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the hotel. While I appreciated the hotel’s good location, with easy access to BTS Chong Nonsi and nearby amenities like McDonald’s, 7-11, and Boots, there were several issues that marred my experience. Firstly, I was surprised to be charged 100 baht for luggage storage when I arrived a day early. I had expected a more welcoming approach, especially since I was checking in the following day. Secondly, when I checked in, I was asked to pay a 4000 baht deposit (2 rooms), which I felt was excessive.
Convenient and Good Service. Recommended Stay in BKK.
Directions: Airport Express to city and changed to BTS. Reached hotel in 1 hour in evening. Service : Upgraded to Executive Deluxe Room upon check-in. Good and friendly staff. Able to converse in English.

Exemplary Hospitality and Convenience: A Week at The Heritage Bangkok (Silom)
I recently spent a week at The Heritage Bangkok (Silom), and overall, it was a delightful stay. Despite being located in Chong Nongsi, the hotel’s proximity to Chong Nongsi BTS Station made exploring Excellent Sathorn, Silom, and Saladaeng areas effortless. The room was impeccably clean and offered all the essentials, including a flat-screen TV and a balcony. The efficient air conditioning ensured a comfortable environment throughout my stay. I particularly enjoyed the terrace and the small fitness room, perfect for daily workouts.
Nice Stay
The room was good. We enjoyed our stay. The room was pretty clean. There are a few things that could make something good great. We had a balcony, but there was no furniture on it to sit and enjoy the outdoor weather.

Accommodation that surpasses cost-performance ratio.
We stayed for a total of 4 nights, including the day of our late arrival. Advantages. 1. Price – By my standards, this accommodation was perfect in terms of location, food options, and the friendliness of the staff at this price range. If your goal is sightseeing, I would absolutely consider returning.
Location, location
The location of this hotel is superb next to the Chong Nonsi BTS train station and 10 minutes walk Silom Subway station which make it easy to get around Bangkok. There is a Villa Supermarket on the ground floor and 7Eleven on the corner. Lots of restaurants and shops around and 10 minutes walk to Patpong night market and 15 minutes walk to Lumpini Park. The swimming pool and gym is located on the 9th floor of the building opposite the hotel and the pool is very big with lots of sun-beds and chairs. The view from the pool is also very nice.

my family’s favorite hotel in Thailand
We’ve been staying in this hotel for over a decade and not only is its location great, but all the staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful at any given time with anything you want. Therefore, it’s my family’s favorite hotel in Thailand. However, this December when we checked into the room, the water drains in both bathrooms weren’t draining at all. We had to ask the maintenance guys to fix them. Even with their effort, they couldn’t fix the drains, so we had to relocate our room.
Overall good stay
We had actually mistakenly booked at Bandara & since it’s non-refundable, we decided to read Google reviews to, hopefully, comfort ourselves – what a relief that majority of the reviews were positive! We’d booked Studio units that does look a tad tired, but heard upgrading works are underway. It’s clean & comfortable, air-conditioning worked fine, water pressure was good. There’s complimentary bottled water provided daily & toiletries, robes, umbrellas, a small safe & fridge, hairdryer, TV & free WiFi are available in the room. Iron+ironing board was sent upon request. Tucked away in a quieter area was definitely appreciated, yet we weren’t far away from the hustle & bustle, food places, banks, BTS station, etc.
