It’s been a while since I’ve been to Thailand. The service is excellent!

9.6

It’s been a while since I traveled abroad due to COVID! After a few years, I’m in Thailand! Since I’m normally working a lot, I thought it would be a great time for some escapism and a little luxury for my newly turned 30-year-old self, so I was looking for a slightly nicer hotel. I was a bit worried about reviews stating it was a little far from BTS, but they provide a free tuk-tuk shuttle until around 9:50 PM. It’s about a 10-minute walk, so for Japanese people who walk often, it might not feel that far. In any case, I think I’d probably take a taxi when I have a suitcase, so honestly, I don’t think it’s a big deal. (From the taxi stand at Suvarnabhumi Airport to the hotel, I had to deal with price negotiation, so I just accepted the driver’s rate which was 300 baht, around 1,200 yen as 1 baht is about 4 yen.

Excellent Stay with Exceptional Service

10.0

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55! I was treated with the utmost professionalism and top-notch friendly staff from the minute I arrived until the very last moment. The staff were always around with a smile and a ready attitude to assist and help you, which just elevate the staying experience. It is not just 1 or 2 of the staff but all the staff i interacted with, from the staff at the check-in counter, the morning breakfast crew, the shuttle bus and the room service. They were all amazing! Kudos to them for the service they provided. Allow me to recount 2 incident, I arrived late night and when I took a shower i realized that the water wasn’t draining fast enough causing the shower area to flood even if the shower was only 5 mins.

I truly appreciated the spaciousness and the inviting, plush bedding that promised restful nights, often accompanied by stunning city views. The thoughtful details, like Japanese bidet toilet bowls and fresh green tea for brewing, made the space feel truly special. My experience

10.0

The stuff was all professional and nice, and always tried to help. The hotel itself is in the center of the city, next to the biggest shopping mall in the city, the rooms are spacious and nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel has the best bath robes that I ever experienced. One of the reasons I go to this hotel is to purchase a couple of new robes for my home. When I ordered 2 fresh coconuts in the room after midnight, the charge was over 800 bat, which is crazy as the cost of a coconut is around 50 bat in the city.

Japanese hotels are reliable.

I stayed for one night during my visit to Bangkok, which had been a while. There was a Japanese male staff member who reassured me that he was there to help if needed, which made me feel at ease. It’s helpful to be able to communicate any requests. The infinity pool was spacious and beautiful, and it was great that they even brought cold water. There was also a sauna and a mist sauna in the changing room/shower area.

The Continent Hotel Sukhumvit – A Perfect Urban Oasis

9.6

During my recent trip to Bangkok, I had the pleasure of staying at The Continent Hotel Sukhumvit. My experience was outstanding, and here’s why I would highly recommend this hotel. Location: 5/5 The Continent Hotel Sukhumvit boasts an unbeatable location in the vibrant heart of Bangkok. Situated on Sukhumvit Road, it is conveniently close to the Asok BTS Skytrain and the Sukhumvit MRT stations, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The hotel’s proximity to major shopping centers like Terminal 21 and a plethora of dining options adds to its appeal.

Location, location, location!

10.0

This boutique hotel is situated on Sukhumvit Road, and the MRT is across the street from the hotel. Three major shopping malls along the stations near the hotel, and the nearby night markets! The service is really outstanding here. They were extremely kind and helpful, and extended a late check-out for me, as my departure was moved up. And I did have issues with my door lock the first 2 days. They initially changed the battery and we thought the issue was resolved; so I kept getting locked out of my room when I returned back from the night markets and a few beers! They were gracious by extending check-out for me, which allowed me to relax by the pool and shower before I left the hotel at 2:45. In addition, I made sure I didn’t leave anything in closets and drawers, but walked out without my cell phone.

Comfortable hotel with nice facilities in a great shopping and dining location.

8.0

We often stay here because it offers excellent value in a fantastic shopping and dining area. Its proximity to the Phrom Phong BTS station is also very convenient. One of the main reasons we choose to stay here is the spaciousness of the one or two-bedroom suites, which are perfect for accommodating our kids. The additional lounge area is very convenient, and the suite also features a nice galley-style kitchen with a clothes washer and dryer. The rooms are well-cleaned and have everything you need for a comfortable stay: lots of TV channels, good water pressure, and air conditioning.

The location is excellent.

9.2

Emporium, EmQuartier, M Sphere, the odd-numbered side of Sukhumvit with convenience stores, Fuji Super, and BTS are all easily accessible no matter where you go. Since it was a trip with friends and their children (five elementary school students), it was really convenient for moving around. There are many Japanese restaurants in Emporium, so picky eaters didn’t have any problems. I was worried about the age of the building, but it was clean, including the water areas, so I didn’t notice any particular issues. The bathtub had a shower, but it seemed a bit difficult for a lower-grade student to shower alone.
