The hotel is located below Chinatown and is easily accessible from the airport by MRT. You can get off at Tanjong Pagar station on the EW line and walk about 200 meters in the 11 o’clock direction. By using the bus stop directly across from the hotel, you can easily reach other tourist attractions. There is a FairPrice supermarket right across from the hotel where you can easily purchase necessary items, and on the second floor of the building across from Trans Link Park next to the hotel, there is a hawker center selling a variety of foods. If you take a leisurely walk from the hotel, you can also reach the Chinatown MRT station.
It was very good.
I was looking for a hotel in Singapore with a bathtub and a twin room. After reading everyone’s comments and considering various options, I decided on this hotel. It turned out to be a great choice! I’m happy to have a bathtub, and even though I imagined the twin beds and the room size of 32 square meters might be cramped, the high ceiling made it feel spacious. The overall cleanliness and sophistication were impressive. I primarily used GRAB for transportation, but the MRT station was also nearby, and there are escalators, so I don’t think it would be inconvenient to move around with a suitcase.

Taking the MRT and buses was incredibly convenient. I enjoyed just riding the double-decker bus to explore the town without a specific plan, and it was easy to just hop back in when I got tired. I could only visit Chinatown briefly, which was disappointing since it was just a 5-minute walk away.

1. The service staff are very good, from the front door receptionist to the check-in counter and all other departments. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a polite receptionist who helped carry my luggage to the room. Although there were a lot of people checking in, I didn’t have to wait too long. I checked in with a female staff member at the check-out counter, and her service was excellent with a clear and easy-to-understand English accent. 2. The room is as advertised, clean, with a beautiful view of the fountain, Suntec Mall, and the National Stadium from the 17th floor.

Check in was relatively challenging as the hotel mentioned they were not able to locate my booking. They requested for me to check with Agoda instead despite me showing them an email with a confirmed status. With the confirmed status, Agoda will not cancel nor refund any payment because it was evidently not their fault – but the hotel insisted Agoda was the one who cancelled and asked me to check with Agoda instead. Hotel said they could not do anything for me unless we book via walk in rates. I mean what is this???? We packed and were waiting for check in – the hotel could at the least arrange for a new reservation with my confirmed email.

Overall pleasant experience, especially thanks to the Club Lounge access, which added a lot of value to the stay. A few areas that could be improved to match the standard the hotel aims to offer. Pillows: The pillows could use some upgrading or at least more variety. They weren’t as comfortable as expected for a hotel of this level. Bathroom Lighting: The lighting setup in the bathroom needs better design — when the bathroom light is on, it’s clearly visible from the outside, which compromises privacy.

Pros: Can’t ask for a better located hotel with an immediate access to MRT upfront (direct line to/from the airport and 2-4 stations away from major downtown shopping malls, and along major hospitals like SGH, Raffles, John Hopkins & Tan Tock Sheng), to F&B and grocery options of all ranges around the facility within couple minutes of walk, and very eco friendly one. Cons: the building is an office-hotel hybrid, with office space occupied floor below 12 under PS/100 (clearly signed at the entrance). The hotel entrance, however isn’t clear. Reception is located on 12th floor, which no one to great you at the door to redirect you to that floor, tiny direction engraved on wall by the lift; Lack of follow-through in communication between pre-arrival customer service and checkin counter; The room is designed with no tower rack/s or wall hooks in the bathroom or the changing area with sink. There three cute wooden hooks next to the TV however, therefore do expect a super wet floor from the bathroom out to the main sleeping area after showering (since there’s no hanging facility available) or ready to leave both towel and clothes on the toilet lid.

The property has a great location in the business district, within walking distance of Marina Bay and Chinatown. It is just across the street from the famous Lau Pa Sat hawker centre, and the iconic evening Satay Street starts right at the hotel’s entrance. The hotel is clean, nicely designed, and has a relaxed atmosphere. The pool is cool and gives off New York vibes. The hotel feels more like a place to sleep—similar to a rented apartment—rather than a 5-star hotel.

I knew the rooms and the facilities would be amazing – modern, flawlessly clean, and beautifully stylish – based on other reviews. However, the staff was beyond helpful. They gave clear directions whenever asked, were super friendly, arranged massages and transportation. The room was cleaned daily (including changing sheets and towels, which as an American I’m seeing less and less), but at any time I chose through a simple alert. One day I accidently left the “do not disturb” sign on all day and only discovered it upon my return to the room in the evening.

Incredible Stay
A very memorable hotel birthday indeed. Booked for 2 nights. Decided to stay one more night just because it was so good! Ritz Carlton lives up to its name. Amazing attention to detail and very friendly staff everywhere. I asked for a ‘no sugar’ ‘no milk or cream’ birthday cake surprise – and they served us a large watermelon pizza with strawberries blueberries and other kinds of fruits – what a genius! Chef understood the assignment! 🥰 The room – really spacious and well planned.
Fantastic Staycation at the Ritz
ts been a while since staying at the Ritz. We did a one night staycation over just before COVID and since then we’ve stayed at other 5 star properties in Singapore to unwind when the work grind gets particularly harsh. Ritz stood out then even compared to the stellar efforts of Fullerton, Shangri-la, St Regis, Capella, Mandarin Oriental et all. This 2nd stay-cation just over the weekend was no different. The view from the room, the service in the club lounge, the evening turn-down, and of course the signature bathroom in this property with the great view of the bay from the large octagonal window were all marvelous touches in a pampering weekend.

The club lounge was excellent.
I stayed for two nights in a spacious room with club lounge access at the Pacific Club Select Studio, as I hoped for that. After looking at the official website and other information, I was looking forward to the breathtaking views and services from the lounge, and it met my expectations in terms of quality. The design offers a spacious feel with a panoramic view of Marina Bay (the club lounge is located on the highest floor, a disc-shaped facility, so you can see the view from both sides), and I enjoyed breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail time leisurely while watching the Bay Sands, Flaton, and Merlion. According to Agoda’s hotel policy, children are not allowed to use the lounge, but the official website states that they can use it until 5:30 PM for an additional fee. I inquired in advance regarding this discrepancy and received a response that children can use it for $48 until 5:30 PM, and indeed, my entire family could use it until that time.

We stayed for 4 nights last week. The hotel is a convenient 15 mins drive from the airport. Check in was smooth and quick. We were given the keys to our room and was happy with jt apart from the damp smell. The next morning the smell was still there, so i mentioned it to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms.
