Park Regis by Prince Singapore
Hotel Services
From the moment I stepped into Park Regis by Prince Singapore, a warm welcome enveloped me, setting a tone of genuine care. The staff here truly understands gracious hospitality, attending to every detail without ever feeling intrusive. I particularly appreciated how the concierge team was always ready to assist, whether it was for transportation needs or local insights—it felt like they were anticipating my needs. The daily housekeeping ensured my space was always pristine, a small but significant comfort. There were moments when the staff went beyond expectations, like helping with a food delivery mix-up or even providing pool access before check-in, which truly left a lasting impression. While the reception staff were wonderfully attentive, a few guests have noted that the initial greeting at the front door could sometimes feel a little less warm.
Room Information
Stepping into my room at Park Regis by Prince Singapore, I was immediately struck by the thoughtful design, creating a comfortable and cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The rooms, though averaging around 20 square meters, felt well-appointed with modern amenities. I found the beds incredibly comfortable, and the rain shower was a refreshing touch—little things that truly matter. Each room comes equipped with soft towels, bathrobes, and even a mini-fridge stocked with water, adding to that sense of being cared for. While many found the rooms perfectly sized, some guests have noted the bathroom layout, with the sink area sometimes in the bedroom, offered less privacy than preferred. Also, a few visitors mentioned that the pillows could be quite firm, and some experienced occasional issues with Wi-Fi strength.

Dining Experience
The dining experience at Park Regis by Prince Singapore offers a convenient and varied selection. The on-site restaurant provides a sophisticated ambiance where guests can enjoy a mix of local and international cuisines. I found the breakfast buffet to be a good start to the day, though some guests have mentioned that the variety felt a bit limited and the area could become quite crowded during peak hours. Beyond the hotel, the surrounding Clarke Quay area is a vibrant hub of culinary delights. Just a short stroll away, I discovered a plethora of dining options, from popular Japanese unagi spots to authentic local favorites like Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, ensuring there was always something new to savor.

best of the best
The location is the best. You can walk to food spots like Ya Kun Toast, Songpa Bak Kut Teh, and Jumbo Seafood / Chinatown, Clark Quay River, Merlion Park, etc. The price is good and the room condition is also good. It’s in the mid-200,000 range, but it’s not cramped at all, so it’s comfortable. One night was in a park room and one night in a room with direct access to the pool on the second floor, both were great.
Nice hotel for a couple of days.
We picked the Park Regis for its location to Clarke Quay and it had a pool access room. The hotel look nice on the website. Check in was easy, we arrived very early in the morning and were lucky enough to be given an early check in and late check out. There were renovations happening which didn’t really affect us except when, finally getting into our room and hopping into the shower, there was no hot water…for 8 hours. This we were not informed about.

The Scarlet Singapore Hotel
Hotel Services
The Scarlet Singapore Hotel truly stands out for its dedicated and gracious staff, who consistently deliver an experience where kindness shows. From the thoughtful welcome drinks and cooled towels upon arrival, I felt immediately seen and cared for. The concierge team was always attentive, offering personalized recommendations that genuinely enhanced my exploration of Chinatown. Their proactive nature and willingness to go above and beyond left a lasting impression—some guests even mentioned being offered access to facilities to freshen up after check-out, a truly considerate gesture. While the staff generally handles transportation bookings efficiently, it’s worth clarifying the type of taxi service to avoid unexpected premium fares.
Room Information
Each room at The Scarlet Singapore Hotel felt like a luxurious embrace, blending contemporary style with classic elegance to create a truly comfortable and cozy sanctuary. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary mini-bar, replenished daily, which added to the sense of quiet indulgence. Some rooms even offer the luxury of a private balcony, providing a pleasant space to unwind. While the overall comfort was notable, it’s worth knowing that some rooms are more compact or may not have windows, which can result in darker lighting conditions. A few guests also noted that the walls could be thin, occasionally allowing hallway sounds to filter through.

The dining options at The Scarlet Singapore Hotel provide both convenience and a taste of local flavors. The on-site restaurant offers a delightful blend of ambiance and cuisine, and I found the daily continental breakfast to be a pleasant start to my mornings. However, the true culinary gem lies just across the street at Maxwell Food Centre. This bustling hawker center is an absolute must-visit, offering an incredible array of authentic Singaporean dishes that made me feel deeply connected to the local culture. The hotel’s prime location ensures easy access to a diverse range of restaurants, from Japanese to Korean, all within a short stroll.

Looking forward again🥰
It’s really a amazing hotel. I wanted to give a early small birthday surprise for my best friend, as I m not around on his birthday. During my booking in Agoda, I requested for early check in and high floors. I m aware it’s all depend on subject of availability on the day itself. 🫡 I did a advance call on Sunday, to check whether the hotel staffs, aware of my request through Agoda.
It’s all dependant on your room!
We booked an executive balcony room as a treat back in June. Overall we were very disappointed with it. We were given room 306 which, as we discovered when passing similar rooms being cleaned, was quite a lot smaller than comparable rooms. This is due to room 306 being at the end of the block and therefore due to the shape of the hotel, it loses a few feet a it narrows on one side. Not only did this compromise space in both our bedroom AND bathroom but it made the balcony quite small and the room quite dark compared to our neighbour who had a brighter, larger space complete with pretty potted plant which ours didn’t have room for.

lyf Funan Singapore
Hotel Services
At lyf Funan Singapore, the staff embodies a truly thoughtful presence, making every guest feel genuinely seen and cared for. Their friendliness and helpfulness were consistent, from the 24-hour front desk to quick assistance with any room needs, like when they promptly addressed an air conditioning issue. I was particularly touched by the stories of staff going the extra mile for special occasions, even upgrading rooms or leaving personalized cards, which truly made me feel known. They graciously offer luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, a small convenience that speaks volumes about their attentiveness. While the complimentary Wi-Fi was generally reliable, a few guests experienced occasional instability, and it’s worth noting that an app is required for pre-check-in and room access, which might take a moment to set up.
Room Information
lyf Funan Singapore offers a range of unique and surprisingly spacious rooms, each designed with a modern, fresh feel that instantly felt welcoming. From cozy studios perfect for a solo adventure to expansive multi-bedroom suites ideal for groups, there’s a thoughtful layout for every traveler. I found the spaces clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable base for my explorations. While amenities like shampoo and a kettle were provided in-room, a few guests noted that the bathrooms, particularly in some smaller layouts, could be quite compact, leading to water splashing onto the floor during showers. Additionally, some experienced minor issues with air conditioning strength or water pressure, and soundproofing occasionally posed a slight challenge.

Dining Experience
The dining experience at lyf Funan Singapore truly embraces a communal spirit, which I found wonderfully refreshing. Their shared kitchen concept on the 5th floor is a fantastic idea, allowing guests to connect over preparing meals—a unique touch that fosters a sense of community. The on-site restaurant also offers a diverse menu, providing convenient options. What truly stands out, however, is the hotel’s direct connection to Funan Mall. This means a vast array of dining choices are just steps away, from local favorites like Ya Kun Toast to international chains. While the complimentary weekday breakfast was simple and neat, featuring comforting options like congee, some guests wished for a wider variety of choices.

I want to come again. 👍🏻👍🏻
I searched several sites and saw people’s reviews, and the ratings for this accommodation were good, so I made a reservation. There were issues during the payment process, but the staff were kind and helped resolve everything quickly. ⁂ About Funan Mall I was surprised by the large size of the hotel when I first entered. From B2 to the 4th floor, there was the Funan Mall, a complex shopping center. On the 1st floor, there was a McDonald’s that operated 24 hours, which I used frequently.
A lodging that has everything.
1. There are many attractions within walking distance. 2. The soundproofing is excellent. 3. It’s nice that the toilet and shower are separate. 4. The shower pressure is amazing. 5. There is no refrigerator in the room, but there is a shared refrigerator at the end of each hallway, so it wasn’t inconvenient, and I didn’t touch others’ belongings inside.
