Great staff, relaxing experience
The staff was amazing – everyone was super friendly from start to finish. They organized a transfer from the airport to the riad for us (it was 16 EUR for 2 – could be paid both in EUR and MAD). Our room was on ground floor, and we expected some noise. It was indeed not the most quiet room until around 8pm. At night, we had no problem with the noise from the riad – there is however a mosque quite close and, as we visited during the last few days of the ramadan, you could hear the prayers long into the night / early morning.
Old, beautiful, well maintained Riad in the Medina with helpful staff.
Staff was very attentive. Rammy reviewed the map with me when I arrived and gave me information. The room was very nice, clean, and well appointed, even if there was just barely enough room on either side of the bed to get to the bed. Funky shaped room, but spacious enough with a nice bathroom – good water pressure and a tub. The place was old but well taken care of with great medina ambiance.

Only positive things to say about Riad Dar Les Freres. Ilyas and his team made sure we had a great stay in Marrakesh. From the check in to the check out, not one complaint. We were two couples and stayed there for 7 days. The Riad is sparkling clean, located super close to the Jemaa el-Fna square and to great restaurants and hammams.
Riad dar les Freres is lovely with helpful staff and is a good but not great value.
Our room was larger than I was expecting and very nicely appointed. The riad itself was lovely. Our flight was delayed way past 1a, but our friendly airport transfer was patiently waiting for us even with the delay. The rooftop breakfast was also super. I was never able to locate Riad dar les Freres on any of the mapping apps I used before my trip.

Can’t imagine a better Riad to stay at in Marrakech. Absolute treasure of a find!
Everything about our stay was excellent and I’d highly recommend this Riad to anyone coming to Marrakech. This stay was an absolute highlight of our 2024! Staff: Everyone was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We had a raft of activities and services booked for us and everything was smoothly run and very enjoyable. The Riad had a very familial feel to it, we felt very welcommed and looked after. The owners, front-of-house team, and the chef(s) were really great – as it’s a smaller hotel, the staff are the same every day so I felt like we really got to know them.
Beautiful and perfectly located riad
The riad is beautifully decorated and well located on a quiet side street of the Medina, near some good restaurants. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, giving us good tips for what to see and do in Marrakech. The roof terrace is pretty, but we didn’t spend that much time up there because it was too chilly in the morning and evening when we were at the hotel. While the hotel staff were really friendly, it confused us a bit that they were really insisting on us making a reservation at a nearby restaurant, offered to reserve it for us but were then quite slow to make the restaurant reservation and as a result we didn’t get a table (next time we will just book ourselves). The only other minor issue is that the rooms have less privacy than some might like as a result of having non-insulated windows facing the courtyard, but this is a feature of virtually all the riads we saw.
