Overpriced but excellent hotel – 10 min walk from Shinjuku st. great lounge and light show next door
We enjoyed our stay at Keio Plaza Hotel. The location is excellent. 10 min from the Shinjuku St. (if you manage to find the shortest way) and just 2 min from the Tachomae Metro station. Our room had an excellent view of the Metropolitan government building, where there was a daily lights show projected on the whole building.
good location, good breakfast, excellent rooms, excellent service
location – walk to tochomae station is via an underpass entrance just 5 mins walk away. note: stairs only though. walk to shinjuku station is through a direct 10 mins walk from the south exit through Fureai-dori Ave to an underpass entrance into Shinjuku Station for Toei Odeo Line and the other lines. brings you right through streets of Yodobashi Camera electronic shops, izakayas, eateries and other shops that the locals frequented daily. excellent experience.

Ultimate Luxury Hotel Experience
This is a luxury hotel unlike any other. The service is just FIRST CLASS, and I cannot overemphasize this enough. We initially booked Chinzanso because of the exclusive private garden (we like walks), but ended being blown away by just about everything else. No wonder this hotel is always so popular with people holding weddings and other big corporate/social events! Let me break it down: 1. The service is FIRST CLASS. Staff are all very attentive and are solution oriented even when you actually don’t need them to provide solutions for you.
I will personally gaurantee you will not regret booking!! 7-Stars
Hi Andre, I just wanted to thank you once again for your hospitality during my stay at the hotel Chinzanso. My only regret is that I didn’t book my whole trip at your hotel. The following was written up for Agoda travel – I mean every word of it and I promise you, your hotel would be my first recommendation as part of my experience.

Excellent and Elegant
Upon arrival, you might notice a number of businessmen in the lobby because this hotel is known for hosting conferences. However, as the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. Once we took the elevator to our room, we found it to be great: very roomy, clean, with a big shower and plenty of toiletries, including skincare products. My husband and I enjoyed the Sky Lounge, where you can have a drink and something to eat while overlooking the beautiful city lights of Shinjuku. The staff always seemed to knowingly place us in the first row to overlook the view, which was super nice since it was our honeymoon.
An incredible experience, I can’t wait to return!
This hotel ticks nearly every box! The location is ideal—centralized and just a short walk from Shinjuku Station and its surrounding shopping malls. It’s quiet and peaceful, with only the occasional fire engine siren that won’t disrupt your stay. The food is excellent, offering superb quality. Guests staying in the Premier Grand have the luxury of choosing from three breakfast options and enjoying access to the lounge for afternoon tea or snacks—perfect after a day of shopping. The amenities are top-notch and among the best I’ve experienced, restocked daily, with delightful L’Occitane products that smell wonderful.

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in
Arrived tired after a long trip from Kyoto for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon. Front of house staff were aware of this and congratulated us as we were helped to our room and shown around. It’s this level of attention that’s the norm there. Room – large, stylish, massive comfy bed, nespresso coffee (we had missed our coffee so much!), big bathroom with large tub and separate shower, dressing room and all this with an incredible view over Tokyo. Pool/gym – complimentary unlike so many others in Japan.
Amazing Service, Very Comfortable
as soon as we arrived we knew we had made the right decision about the park hyatt. we had just traveled from the north of japan where we were snowboarding and prior to that 3 days in tokyo at another hotel on tokyo station. both the park hyatt and the other hotel are 5 star but the ph is in a class all of its own. and slightly more affordable. the lobby on level 41 features a very nice garden cafe and bar flowing into an open restaurant and through a library into the check in area.
