•bed was very comfortable •location was good •nice size room •staff friendly • location i didn’t check out the spa or pool area unfortunately so I cannot comment. when I arrived there was an event on at the W’s bar. Although it was clear to security and everyone else I was arriving at the hotel with my two suitcases out of a taxi, they didn’t move or attempt to help me. in fact they stood in the way. so I was just stood there with my two suitcases whilst the two idiot security stood infront of me.

We stayed for 5 nights, unfortunately the first 3 nights weren’t as expected. We had couple of issues Mainly, – Our breakfast was supposed to be included and every morning we had to return the bill. 5 star hotels usually have this sorted before the guests come in. – the first 3 days our room wasn’t cleaned until late afternoon and only after calling the reception although we always made sure “clean my room” button was on But I have to admit that after me talking to the manager everything was well sorted, so I advise you to contact the management team for any issues from day one So grateful to the management who acted immediately and resolved all our issues.

A Dissapointing Return
We booked a Superior Room as set out on the Agoda website. We did not receive this. The room we were giving is average and is cramped. The super king bed is too big for the room and prevents use of the chairs provided other than in a row facing into the benchlike table along the wall. There is useless decor lighting beneath this table which serves no purpose.
Classy beautiful hotel, kid friendly and in the middle of it all
Perfect location for those who want to be in the center of all the action in Amsterdam, very near red light, terminal, shopping, etc. Hotel was big and beautiful, though you might get lost at the first. Really classy and love the smell around the premises. Many helpful staff assist us as we are a huge group of 3 families (8 adults and 3 kids) total of 4 rooms. Special mention to staff like hazel, edna, aida, jocelyn, marilen, rick, hasan, and manewan.

Good location
This hotel is accessible to all local attractions. Just across the road is the tram station, and also near the boat station for a canal cruise. The streets are relatively safe at night. 2-3 minute walk from the hotel is a smorgasbord of restaurants from Dutch, Italian, Brazilian, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, to McDonalds, Starbucks & Hardrock. I personally liked the all you can eat grilled spare ribs for 9 euros, well worth it, and try the Wok to walk, Chinese noodles cooked in front of you, yummy! Also, the next tram station from the hotel is the Rijksmuseum which has Rembrandt’s paintings, and the Van Gough museum.
Stay for location. Nothing else.
Location. No hot water. They tried to fix it but we were told the faucet was broken and would take a long time to replace. It was like this immediately from the beginning of our stay. No offer for compensation at all or relocation to a different room.
