Easy, comfortable and convenient hotel.

10.0

IQ Hotel Roma gave us everything we needed for our short break. If you are from the UK, it is like a Premiere Inn, but with free snacks and drinks (which my children loved) and beer in the mini bar. The rooms are basic and functional, but clean and well serviced. There were bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap etc and also cotton buds, cotton wool, nail files and hair dryer in the bathroom. It felt as though they wanted to make sure you had everything you needed.

It’s convenient.

10.0

The transportation, breakfast, fitness, location, and services all satisfied me. Right behind is a bus stop for bus number 71 that goes to the outlet, and I also visited the department store using the 71 bus. You can catch big buses and tour vehicles in front of the church. In particular, if you walk about one stop away, there’s a Max Mara store, and right behind it is a Carrefour. If you walk or take a bus for about two stops, you will come to a clean and pretty neighborhood with old boutique shops, a leather specialty store, and restaurants that locals frequently visit, including a renowned pizza place.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning for climate control, a hair dryer, a mini-bar, and satellite/cable television. Some rooms thoughtfully feature balconies furnished with wicker chairs, sofas, and tables, providing a pleasant outdoor space. Guests have observed that some of the rooms can feel compact, and soundproofing occasionally presents an issue, with noise from adjacent rooms and the corridor being audible. While some bathrooms include bathtubs, others feature shower facilities that may allow water to easily splash onto the floor. Lighting options have been described as both excellent by some and dim and challenging to operate by others. Generally, rooms are maintained with cleanliness, though a few guests reported minor dust concerns. Select rooms also provide built-in safes for securing valuables.

It is worth noting that the hotel entrance has steps without a ramp, which can present a challenge for guests with heavy luggage. About two hundred thousand won for one night…

8.8

I think the price was about that much usually, but I ended up paying 500,000 won when I went, maybe it was an expensive day, haha. If it were in Korea, I think it would have been like the Grand Hyatt. The facilities weren’t particularly bad, but they were somewhat outdated yet relatively clean. The room was too small, so I couldn’t open two suitcases; I just opened one and lay the other one down. I had to step on the suitcase to get to the bathroom.

Aesthetics over practicability

8.0

Modern attractive looking establishment but, as in so many such hotels the light fittings are ridiculous – the circuitry of the lights is complicatedly connected – which switch does what? Also, the lighting both above the bed and at the bedside tables is so very dim and ill-directed that one can’t read a book in bed. As in most European hotels the tea- and coffee-making arrangements are either non-existent or lack black tea sachets (English breakfast tea) and especially milk – be it dried in “creamer” sachets or as real milk in the minibar. Honestly, how many people want only to drink herbal or fruit teas? I guess that one can always ask housekeeping to the supply the other items but this is a nuisance for both staff and guest. Also, what is this fad for glass-walled bathrooms? In the case of the Leonardo it wasn’t so bad as translucent glass was used. However, who wants (even as a “shadow self”) to be seen sitting on the loo!!!!.

Excellent

Our stay at Rome Marriott Park Hotel was truly delightful, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, Rosalba at the reception greeted us with warmth and kindness. Her empathy and solution-oriented approach made us feel truly welcomed. Rosalba’s genuine care and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. One standout member of the team was Antonio, our waiter, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was unforgettable.

Below my expectations while staying at Marriot

Location is quiet and green. The room is spacious. Friendly service at breakfast! Facilities: gym is old, there was no single yoga mat. Spa closed for renovation, pool shut. Hotel has to be renovated as everything is old.

Convenient and comfortable for a quick airport stay!

8.0

The fact that it’s directly connected to the airport makes it super convenient, especially for early morning flights or late arrivals. The rooms could be more spacious. but they are clean, and surprisingly quiet given the location.

The optimal accommodation connected to the airport.

10.0

It was very nice to arrive late in the evening on a direct flight with Korean Air, tired from a long journey. As soon as I came out of immigration, I saw the Hilton logo on a sign, and I easily found it by following the elevator and moving walkway. I passed the rental car parking lots and went all the way to the end, and as soon as I came out, the hotel garden’s canopy extended, so even though it was raining outside, not a single drop fell on me. The room seemed old but was clean, and there was no discomfort for an overnight stay. The shower cubicle separated only by a curtain and the shower head that wasn’t fixed were a bit surprising, but it didn’t become a water mess as I had feared.

Excellent location, value for money, kindness

9.2

The room was larger than other European hotels, and it was sufficient for staying with a family of five in a double room and a triple room. I was worried it would be cold at the end of February, but the radiator was fine, and simple laundry like socks dried quickly when placed on it. Slippers were provided for each person in advance, and there were plenty of towels, shampoo, body lotion, and soap. The breakfast offered good value for money, allowing everyone in the family to enjoy it without complaints. On the days of check-in and check-out, they conveniently stored our bags for free, making it easy to explore.

The goods in the bads

10.0

It was a very nice place actually beautiful there were only two things that I gave it a lower rating for when we went downstairs to have something to eat it was close to 5:00 and they said that their restaurant didn’t open till 7:30 we thought that was kind of late so we had to have bar food and our bed was rock hard other than that the place was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very kind even helped us carry our very heavy luggage upstairs I already stated it above sorry the lateness of the restaurant opening did not open till 7:30 in our bed was rock hard they were very accommodating they said our room would not be open for an hour and when I approached the desk to ask if our room was ready they said it was not that the people had actually just checked out so they put us in a room that had just been refurbished and told us that all the mini bar items were complimentary.

Hotel was fine and conveniently located – with a paid shuttle bus to and from the Airport. I HIGHLY recommend taking the bus if you are jot in a hurry since the prevailing Uber/Taxi fare was around EUR40, while the bs cost EUR6 each way. I caught the shuttle at T3, with the hotel bus stop being in the middle of the roadway, as is the case at many US Airport. Signage not great, but it’s there! Hotel has a bar and restaurant with a range of reasonably priced bar food still available at 10pm when I arrived. My ONLY negative was the non-functioning air-conditioning.
