Great location! Staff was friendly and very professional. Really big room, awesome view! Comfortable beds. The only bad thing was the water pressure in the shower. The pressure varies a lot during the bath, sometimes you have just a few drops during your shower. You have extremely hot and cold water because of that.
One of the best hotels in BA
I didn’t have a lot of expectations for the hotel as the price was reasonable but the stay was beyond expectations. The view was great, staffs were all so nice, room was spacious enough, and got early check in for free. One thing, it seemed to be a hotel with history so the facilities aren’t that up to date. But overall I would truely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits BA.

Good value for money but could have been better
Property is located perfectly, right next to a key landmark of Buenos Aires, Plaza de Mayo. The junior suite I got was very neat and clean. Staff from front desk, dining, housekeeping, etc was generally very friendly, caring and accommodating. Staff is generally friendly although the front desk could do better with answering calls more consistently (often had calls not answered and no call back). Also, there was inconsistency in housekeeping services provided.
Fair pricing, but needs improvements
The staff was extremely helpful and answered a lot of my questions. The location is decent, but there are better places to stay if this is important to you. I don’t think the breakfast was that great. They gave me good sized room with a nice view, but the curtains were not long enough to cover up the sunlight coming through in the morning. The hotel is outdated and in need of upgrades.

Overall Front Office staff was very friendly but not helpful when busy and made many mistakes.
beautiful property luggage was delivered late & front office forgot cab reservations once & the cab driver couldn’t take credit card payment but we asked in advance & he almost took us to the wrong airport when we told front office where we were going. the VAT website wasn’t working & front office agent wouldn’t help us cause he said he was too busy with other check-outs. no atm or currency exchange made it very tough to get money for cash. bathroom door was broken but bathroom is beautiful.
Nice view & convenient location
I stayed in Buenos Aires for seven days and spent three nights at this hotel. It was convenient and clean. However, breakfast on Sunday was held at the Sky Bar (?), and I was expecting a delicious breakfast with a great view. Instead, it was overcrowded and the service was slow. The breakfast on the ground floor was much better.

Enjoyable Stay at the Alvear Palace Hotel
My wife and I resided at this stately hotel late March 2019 for a few days. We were provided a very comfortable room which had plenty of space, and was very quiet. The hotel was conveniently situated with plenty of luxury boutiques nearby. In terms of guest management, concierge was most helpful in assisting us with all bookings we required, and my wife and I definitely felt well taken care of during our stay. I had the chance to utilize both the pool and gym, which were perfectly satisfactory.
