Best of the Best in Japan (5-star)
First of all, I was impressed by the skillful, perfect, and kind attitude of the female manager who mainly stayed in the morning. We stayed in this wonderful hotel on the 3rd floor for 3 days (from July 7 to July 10, 2024). It was a new hotel, and the superior interior, cleanliness, and everything were perfect. The bread provided for breakfast was fresh and really delicious. And when I accidentally opened the window, the female manager came right away and fixed it.
I had high hopes because it was newly built, and it met my expectations!!
The building that was just completed might not be brand new, but it was clean and modern without any old-fashioned vibe. Even highly-rated hotels tend to have a few lower ratings, which made it hard for me to choose, but the issues mentioned in the lower ratings here didn’t seem significant at all, so I decided right away. The somewhat awkward location between Tenjin and Hakata is a slight downside, but it’s a charming and quiet neighborhood, which I appreciated. The building itself is quite small, to the point of being mini, and the reception desk is also on the smaller side. The room I stayed in was the smallest one, so the overall scale is small.

Very enjoyable but not value for money because of inconsistent service quality
Convenient location , clean and modern style. Rooms are sizable and comfortable Quality level of staff is extremely inconsistent. The staff are all very polite. However there are a couple of instances that totally shocked me. 1) the water temperature control of my shower was not working and the hotel sent a technician to take a look.
Great staff, admirable attention to details, terrific location
It was the attention to detail here – what you’d expect from a top hotel, but in this case it even exceeded my expectations. For example, they provided very nice and comfortable his and hers pyjamas, in addition to the usual robes. I asked for our room to be cleaned at a specific time every day, to help with our planning of activities, and as far as I could tell they did it almost exactly to the minute requested, without missing a single day. I never had to remind the turndown staff to provide something that the housekeeping had earlier missed, because housekeeping never missed a single item – down to the last type of teabag or coffee capsule. Front office staff speak impeccable English, and were always very friendly and helpful The location was terrific, one block from an Avis/Budget rental office (which I utilised for a day trip out), less than 50 yards to a subway station, and walking distance to all the major shopping malls, with good restaurants and convenience stores all around.

Brand New Hotel
Brand new hotel with great staff, perfect location to enjoy restaurants and shopping centres around the area, complimentary mini-bar and lounge with a lot of drinks and food, exceptional night wear and bathrobes provided, very pleasant stay! The public bath is not real onsen, should have add some onsen bath salt to make it better; need a tap with boiling/cold and sparkling water at the lounge.
