Beautiful gardens away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cairo
The grounds are beautiful and security excellent. The room was tastefully decorated with a safe which was easy to operate. However, amenities need more careful thought eg long mirror, space to put the suitcases and be provided consistently. The in room provisions plentiful but inconsistently provided. It took a day to fix the water heater and extractor fan.

Check-in was slow due to only one receptionist, but Mustafa was kind and offered us a free upgrade to a suite, which was appreciated. The suite wasn’t very clean — wiping spilled water turned the tissue black. The toilet had a constant flush issue that needed 3 reports before the part was replaced. I had two bookings. During the second check-in, I asked to stay in the same suite.

Amazing experience
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown, within walking distance of many shops and attractions. When we first arrived, the area felt a bit chaotic—but that’s just Cairo. The city has its own rhythm and energy, which we quickly came to understand. While it’s common for people on the street to approach you asking for money, we never felt unsafe or at risk of being robbed. In fact, we felt comfortable walking around at any time of day, even late in the evening.

Very good location and staff went out of their way to make the stay good for us. We stayed for 3 nights. Very easy to get an Uber to all the popular spots and you can also walk to the Egyptian museum and downtown Cairo. I don’t have much negative to say about this hotel and they are all trying their best, but the air condition in the room was set to 14 degrees. I tried many times to get help from reception to turn it up, as going from 42 degrees outside and sleeping in 14 degrees is not good.

Perfect choice love it
My recent stay at the InterContinental Semiramis Cairo was nothing short of exceptional From the moment I arrived, the friendly and professional staff made me feel welcome and valued. A special thanks goes to Nevine, the front desk manager. Not only was she incredibly friendly and kind, but she also went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect Thanks to Nevine, I was upgraded to a beautiful room with the most stunning view imaginable – the perfect birthday surprise Speaking of birthdays, the staff truly made my day even more special. Upon returning to my room, I was delighted to find a delicious birthday cake waiting for me. This thoughtful gesture truly went a long way and epitomized the exceptional service provided by the hotel.

Great location. Breakfast is amazing. Restaurant food (dinner) is hit and miss. Sometime it’s great, others are mediocre at best. But my biggest complaint, why are the pool operating hours 9am-till sunset which is around 6:30? That only meant we could never use the pool because we had excursions everyday and pretty much all day.

Luxury hotel on the Nile
Beautiful 5 star hotel. Security at entrance for cars and also as you walk in. From the moment you enter, you know you are in a first class hotel. The staff are friendly, professional, and trained to accommodate their guests. Lovely shops, coffee shop, lounge for coffee and delicious pastries.
A Haven of Peace in Cairo
While a stroll in Cairo may expose you to scorching heat and a sense of chaos (but it’s worth it), the Nile Ritz-Carlton offers the feeling of safety and tranquility when you pass through its gates. A hotel that for the most part lives up to the Ritz-Carlton brand, with spacious room (and Nile-facing terrace available), very courteous service, and a whole bunch of facilities (the Italian restaurant is very good). Shout-out to our housekeeper Mohamed (I believe he goes by this name), and the grandpa-like doorman Nabil. The only suggestion is that some of the room facilities (like AC control) may be updated – they are not outdated, just somewhat worn.

The customer service at this establishment is truly top-notch – the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The resort itself is outstanding, with luxurious amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. One of the small details that really made a difference for me was the presence of a high-quality coffee machine and a selection of fancy coffee and tea, as well as actual coffee cups and bathroom original containers, which truly made me feel at home. The room size was also very comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the design and furnishings.

Extremely spacious room overlooking the Nile river
I had sooooooo much trouble looking for the hotel. The local taxi drivers (not just one of them but a few of them) have no idea where the hotel is. One of them kept telling me that there is only two hiltons in Cairo, and we had to go to all two of them before we’ve finally arrived at the right one, the Cairo World Trade Centre Residence.
Decent
We stayed here for two nights whilst exploring Cairo. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, especially the staff in the restaurant. We were upgraded for free to a suite which was absolutely huge and included a living room and kitchen as well as several bathrooms. Beds were super clean but decor and carpets were a bit outdated and worn. The bathrooms were in need of modernising in order to appear cleaner and the shower leaked in one bathroom.
